Things To Do In Killarney | The Curious Cat
A few weeks ago a friend and I went to visit a new wine bar which has opened in town. I just couldn’t listen to everyone else rave on about it anymore so I grabbed Moira and off we went.
We waited about 15 minutes for people to leave a table, we eventually grabbed one outside in the lane, great for people watching while sipping a prosecco. Which is on tap btw…quite dangerous. This lane could be so much cooler, Killarney could step it up with some better lighting.
The wine menu is delicious! Purchase by the glass or bottle, though sampling is easier by the glass.. I’d highly recommend the second Sauvignon Blanc on the list. I’m crap with names, so bare with me!
What I do know is that their menu is quite fab, tapas and nibbles which make you feel like you are on holiday. Grilled asparagus, hummus and pitta, cheese boards, I think we ordered everything to share.
Richard the owner is so friendly and welcoming, with great taste in music, I have to point out they played the best music all evening. We met him at Eddie Vedder the next week so great minds and all 🙂
This laid back venue is so cool, pop in for a quiet glass of something or spend the evening, you may never want to leave!
