#CloggersBloggersEvent- The Goodie Bags!
This month has been so mental that I’ve only had time to write whats in my head now. Where do I even begin with these insane goodie bags?
I am still using products from the last event, I actually had a the chance to use most of the products before writing this. As September is almost over, its time to review.
Curly hair has been the hassle of my life- wash it and hope for the best. I’m lucky to have it and people always say you want what you cant have. Well actually I can but it comes with a price. Heat damage combined with naturally frizzy dry hair means when I embrace the curls they are so worn out and lifeless. Until I discovered Alfaparf products, they have completely re-nourished and replenished my hair. It began to grow again, is stronger than ever and whether curly of straight its thick and healthy looking. We were treated to 2 samples of the new line-Precious Nature for Coloured Hair. Shampoo and Mask with Almond and Pistachio. Almond is amazing for hair fiber and rich in oils while pistachio prolongs the intensity of coloured hair.
Having traveled to London for a mega 48 hour trip I knew these would come in handy. A nice travel size that tamed the frizz and smelled fab. I also used the Wet Brush Pro, which detangled even separated the curls. A total savior.
As the Underground, planes and air conditioning dried out my skin I needed a quick hydration fix before the wedding the next day, Dermalogica saved it! I had not previously used Dermalogica but a male friend of mine swears by them so I was intrigued. The handy mini’s also came with me and I had a mini pamper session, relaxing before we started our second day of madness. It was 30+ degrees in London that day and my skin had had enough. With the Daily Microfoliant, a powder which turns into a paste combined with the Glove your Body Dual Facial Cleansing & Exfoliation Pad, I knew my skin was already feeling hydrated and so clean. I opened the Hydration Pack we received and used the Skin Hydrating Masque while in the bath and removed it after 10 minutes. I will have to purchase this in full size as well as the Skin Hydrating Booster. I didn’t wear any make up that day and my skin felt amazing even when we got home late that night!
Knowing I only had about an hour to switch my bags over I used my goodie bag to get ready for the wedding. The Catrice Luxury Nude nail varnish and the Eye Crayon in Champagne On Me were really admired on the day. I am still wearing the Nude nail varnish as it is the PERECT colour! I’ve tried every nude shade but they all looked ‘Elastoplast’ grey on my nails. This shade has a gorgeous lustre through it and doesn’t dull when dry- definitely picking up more in this range.
As for Nimue Sun-C SPF, it was the product of the day. The couple were blessed with the amazing weather and as a pale Irish girl I was so glad I had the sense to bring it with me. I applied it to my arms and legs before getting ready and didn’t need to reapply. I avoided getting burned and it was surprisingly moisturizing too. I’m going to look into their skincare range as Marie of The Beautmum raves about it and my lines need help. I’m not prepared for Botox just yet..ha!
I still have a few bits that I want to use more before reviewing but I have to thank both Marie and Shell for the goodie bag that kept me going through a crazy week! They did such a great job at the #CloggersBloggerEvent, hopefully there’ll be another meet up soon!
