Blogmas Day 1 | Craftmakers
Ok so it’s late going up, surprise surprise! But we have Day 1 of Blogmas. Hoorah!
I wanted to focus on gifting and somewhere close to my heart, The Craftmakers in Tralee.
Home of crafters and artists alike all hailing from the West of Ireland, especially Kerry.
Having closed in August, they have returned for a Christmas Pop Up and will again close on Christmas Eve. It is even more special as this year I have some stock there and I am obsessed with the talent and quality all under one roof.
Firstly I’d like to begin with Gifts I would like-
Candles: Basic yet loved by everyone. I really recommend Merry Christmas and Turf Fire.
New Journals: Mucros Bookbinders have beautiful diaries and journals to help you organise yourself come the new year. Who doesn’t love new stationary?
Jewellery: Sean Sugrue is a genius. His necklaces and rings are stunning, I love the texture and weight of each piece. Mixing both silver and gold, which is my favourite way to wear my jewels.
Gifts for People You Love-
Beardsmith: The creation of an A&E Nurse who wears a beard with pride. Not only does the extensive range smell amazing (spearmint beard shampoo) your face won’t have to deal with sharp whiskers anymore. Whats not to love?
Eoin better not read this.
Donnchadha O Connor: Not only did he create to copper shelving and stands, he has just graduated from college as a Technical Graphics teacher. I am in awe of people who are skilled woodworkers and I wouldn’t mind one of the chopping boards myself!
Jayne Gillan: Felt scarves that are such bright colours and so soft.
McNutt of Donegal: The softest lambswool throws and blankets which are in every colour you could imagine! We met the team at a trade show and they were the nicest bunch ever! When I get my forever home it’ll have a McNutt throw in every room.

I hope you’ve enjoyed day one of blogmas, I’m still coming to terms with the fact December is here.
